SEGRO France is strengthening its organization to meet new market challenges and the ever more demanding needs of its customers and partners
With :
- the creation of a new City Logistics Paris division headed by Édouard Ancel
- the appointment of Louis Szyjewski as Director of the Logistics division
- the launch of recruitment for the position of Director of the Urban Distribution and Business Parks division
The SEGRO France Management Committee is now divided into 3 portfolio departments:

A historic player in real estate specializing in urban distribution, business parks and large logistics, SEGRO is pursuing its development strategy with a growth plan to match its ambitions.
With a portfolio of assets in France of 1.5 million m2, made up of centers dedicated to urban distribution representing a total area of 410,000 m2, business parks for a total area of 400,000 m2 as well as With 740,000 m2 of logistics platforms, mainly located on the Lille-Paris-Lyon-Marseille backbone, SEGRO France is pursuing its growth objectives and confirming its leading position. Thanks to a strategy of selective establishment and know-how confirmed for more than a century, SEGRO meets the new challenges of French cities, driven by the development of urban logistics and the growing needs of consumers.
In France and more particularly in the Paris area, the Group is embarking on innovative projects such as the urban logistics space integrated into the Îlot Fertile, the first zero carbon project in Paris resulting from “Reinventing Paris 1”. As part of "Réinventer Paris 2" and the "Reprendre Racines" project led by SEGRO & ICADE, SEGRO will develop a 75,000 m2 urban distribution center by 2025, in the heart of the 13th arrondissement of Paris, on the site from the old Gobelins station.
In this context, SEGRO France is strengthening its organization by creating a new position responding to the ambition of offering reinvented, sustainable and service-oriented logistics in the heart of the City of Paris, taking into account the scarcity of land, urban, environmental and societal.
Édouard Ancel is a graduate of the Institut Supérieur de Gestion, training which he completed during his career with a Master's degree in Commercial Real Estate (Kedge Business School) then recently with a Master's degree in Territorial Governance and Urban Development at Sciences Po Paris. After his debut at CDR Immobilier, he held the position of Asset Manager at AEW for 5 years. He then joined SEGRO in 2008, where he held several positions including that of Investment Director then Director of the Urban Distribution and Business Parks division. Since March 1, 2021, Édouard Ancel has been in charge of the management of the new City Logistics, Paris division within SEGRO France.
The future Director of the Urban Distribution and Business Parks division (formerly headed by Édouard Ancel) is currently being recruited.
Logistics is now managed by Louis Szyjewski, whose career, for more than 12 years at SEGRO as Property and Asset Manager then co-Director of Large Logistics Development, has enabled him to acquire a solid knowledge of the market and the portfolio. developed by SEGRO in France. His new missions include the management of all of SEGRO France's large logistics assets, the strengthening of customer relations and the pursuit of the development strategy.
Finally, Quentin Liu has been confirmed in his position as Technical & Construction Director in order to coordinate the technical aspects and cross-functional projects (environment, Health & Safety, etc.) of SEGRO France's activities.
